Sister Act – through August 18th
When disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be a found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover. Featuring original music by Tony- and eight-time Oscar winner, Alan Menken, this uplifting musical was nominated for five Tony Awards.

Winter in July at the Phoenix Zoo – Saturday, July 14th
Temperatures are heating up, but the Phoenix Zoo is transforming into a winter wonderland Chill out in nearly 50 tons of snow, splash around at the wet and wild play areas, and watch our lovable animals enjoy icy treats. All activities are included with general Zoo admission.
Second Friday Night Out – Friday, July 13th
Mesa downtown galleries and businesses have joined together to create an exciting, friendly and free way to spend a Friday evening. With a new theme every month, visitors can enjoy an art walk, dining, shopping, activities, entertainment, and fun every 2nd Friday of the month. This event is held on Main Street between Center and Country Club. The information booth located on Main and Macdonald has a map of the evening's activities and locations.
Cityscape’s Urban H20Asis – Saturday, July 14th
Central Avenue and Patriot’s Park will be transformed into a water park. There will be shade, the splash pad, and slides for all ages! Bring the kids to cool off, chill out, and learn all about water safety from the Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA. All contributions will be donated to the “Safety Around Water” program. This program teaches parents and caregivers about the importance of water safety skills.
